Great place to shop walked in on a 70;off sale got a Michael kors purse for $38.00 it's adorable and Michael kors shoes for $30.00 both pre loved but not worn really at all . So I went there twice on two days!! Go there get some great deals!

I just want to say that my daughter and I had a fantastic experience at Plato's Closet in Port St Lucie. We traveled up to that location from Stuart after finding our store not as friendly or welcoming when taking items in. We took in 4 bags of clothes to be reviewed and possibly bought. The girls working were very sweet and told us it would only be 20 minutes for them to check out our items. They purchased quite a few items and made the experience pleasant and very easy. We are looking forward to going back and working with them again!!

I love this place! super clean, great stuffs and the atmosphere is the best!! The customers? Not to much, they think the workers owes them something…. These kids are very nice and you can tell they work hard, having to go through someone else’s clothes not knowing if there is something unpleasant they might find (people don’t care to bring used nasty clothes). They have 90% discounts and rewards and etc and some customers still complaint…. Reading reviews here saying the place is bad makes me laugh! Please do not go there, do them a favor and don’t kill their good energy, those kids deserve a raise for their awesome work! :)

I visited this location for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised based on previous low star reviews. The store is well organized and there’s a wide selection of good quality inventory. The customer service wasn’t above and beyond but everyone was polite and helpful. LOVE that they don’t offer plastic bags!! If you want to write a negative review because you weren’t offered enough money, you have unrealistic expectations. The whole business model is fast cash for clothes. If you want what you paid for something, go sell it yourself!

Super shocked at the AUDACITY of these previous negative reviews for this location, like as if this place owes any of you any thing at all? Do you not understand the whole actual point of a THRIFT store? Maybe the concept of “reduce, reuse, recycle,..but also a POSSIBILITY of a little extra cash“ is hard to get a grip upon for a generation of ppl just so money hungry and greedy and quite frankly, Whiney and entitled.? Either way no one is forcing you to go through all your clothes n make the trip here, the way they purchase items is solely based on their procedure of supply & demand but of course what’s on trend and what will sell/won’t sell .. this is a thrift store but a SMALL growing business still at the end of the day. If you want real actual profits for your clothes, used or not, go to FB marketplace or poshmark, Depop, any online platform. Wearas, yes it takes time and hustle to sell too on those but do not throw this establishment under the bus for your financial come downs. They are not meant to be an actual source of income, let alone a pity party for you to stomp on when you don’t get even close to equivalent of what you paid for something. These reviews just cracked me up bcus my mind is just mind boggled at the prerogative here. Ever since they’ve been at the St Lucie West location and now moved here to Jensen Beach & have gone through employees over the years, I’ve experienced nothing but above and beyond kind & courteous, staff and service. And their sense of fashion as well has always kept up w the trends, they are continuously on point & super cute for extremely affordable creative style & aesthetic. I absolutely adore this Platos Closet & the girls & guys working here for-sure know how to throw outfits together , always gives me inspo and genuinely knows how to efficiently run the store as a team. This is THE BEST platos closet ive ever been to. The organization is on point, the clothes are so cute, the staff is very nice, and the vibes are great. The platos closet in my college town cannot compare. The vibes at Gville platos closet are evil. Im currently missing my jensen platos closet.

I love this Plato’s. The one I used to go to was horrible. This location is so sweet, they constantly put out new stuff and the staff is always so welcoming and kind. I moved down here 7 months ago and decided to give Plato’s a shot and I’m glad I did. I have sold there multiple times and now I just shop there for fun because the deals are good and the clothes are cute. I feel bad for all the Plato’s slander. They’re kids and young adults doing their job. It’s a business. They aren’t going to pay you retail prices for items they are trying to sell. They are a thrift or consignment store. They sell atleast 40-60% lower than retail so when they buy they give you a percentage of that. I have gotten so many clothes there (free people, lulu lemon and more) that I would NEVER be able to afford brand new. I love it. It’s a win, win. Being able to make money off of my old clothes without having to take the time to post them online and hold onto them, and then I get to buy (new to me) clothes. Keep up the great work staff and company! Y’all are awesome and i appreciate you :)
